Microencapsulated Natural
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) (20%)
As natural
Innovative
100% Natural raw material
in the form of water-soluble emulsion for Dermatological and Pharmaceutical
Applications
is
formulated using
Down PoreŽ our US registered microencapsulation process
that enhances through-the-skin penetration of biological active ingredients
through the normal, dry, and mature skin.
Natural
Microencapsulated Vitamin C (20%) is great a weapon against: deeply
non-healing wounds, burns, inflammations, irritations, ulcers, gum
infections, dental caries, aging spots, plague spots, and the aging signs
such as wrinkles, fine lines, puffiness, firmness, and crows’ feet. It
penetrates in pores to renew, refresh, rejuvenate, revitalize your skin
and control skin disorders and helps keep skin clear of new aging signs,
helps prevent the development of new wrinkles, fine lines, puffiness,
firmness, and crows’ feet.
Never before has manufactured stable water-soluble emulsion
with microencapsulated Natural
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) (20%)
Vitamin C is extremely effective ingredients in beauty care and
pharmaceutical products. However, this vitamin cannot be added directly to
products due to its strong oxidizing powers. Therefore, Nu Technology has
developed and manufactured microencapsulated Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) (20%)
in complex emulsion which is unique products on the US market.
Although multiple emulsion has a long history and has been studied
extensively in the past 20 years, only today this emulsion can be presented
to the market. Up until now some companies have encapsulated ascorbic acid
using silicone oil (or its derivatives, such as cyclomethicone etc.) to form
the external emulsion phase. However, this emulsion is useless since
silicone molecules block pores on the skin not allowing ascorbic acid
(vitamin C) not penetrate through the skin barrier.
A
stable aqueous natural microencapsulated ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) in
emulsion can to use as perfect complement to any skin care products.
Advantages of microencapsulated Vitamin C in the form water-soluble complex
emulsion are:
ˇ it
can be used in any formulation for the production of beauty care
and pharmaceutical products
ˇ it
is stable and no oxidation will occur with time; therefore, it will
not effect the stability and structural properties of the
final
product with time
ˇ it
can be simply added to the final product at room temperature
without changing the whole process.
Vitamin C is an antioxidant that is required for at least
300
metabolic functions in the body, including tissue growth and repair,
adrenal gland function, and healthy gums. It also aids in the production of
anti-stress hormones and interferon, an important immune system protein, and
needed for the metabolism of folic acid, tyrosine, and phenylalanine.
Vitamin C protects against the harmful effects of pollution, helps to
prevent cancer, protects against infection, and enhances immunity. It also
may reduce levels of low-density lipoproteins (LDL, the so-called “bad
cholesterol”), while increasing levels of high- density lipoproteins (HDL,
or “good cholesterol”) as well as lowering high blood pressure and helping
to prevent atherosclerosis.
Vitamin C is reversibly oxidizable in the human body to a
form known as dehydroascorbic acid. The physiological functions of vitamin C
are related to this oxidation-reduction system. Vitamin C is involved in
carbohydrate metabolism, reduction of glucose tolerance, decrease of
hepatic glycogen content and resistance to insulin. Vitamin C prevents the
oxidation of epinephrine. Very important role of vitamin C is to decrease
rate of skin aging process and to increase wound-healing process. How the
skin aging process is developed? The skin thins and becomes lined and
wrinkled, because our skin stops producing collagen, elastin. Vitamin C and
its derivatives are powerful collagen promoters in the dermal fibroblast at
any age. Vitamin C has been widely employed for the treatment of such
diverse conditions as dental caries, pyorrhoea, gum infections, anaemia,
malnutrition hemorrhagic states, and miscellaneous infections.
