· Ibuprofen has been used by oral administration in patients with a history of gastrointestinal intolerance to other NSAIDs. Gastrointestinal side effects are experienced by 5 to 15% patients taking ibuprofen: gastrointestinal irritation and bleeding, epigastric pain, nausea, heartburn, and also thrombocytopenia, skin rashes, headache, dizziness, fluid retention, and other.
· Significantly decrease concentration of ibuprofen in the cream for topical application compared to orally administration.
