· Baby rash (and/or diaper rash, miliaria/milia, prickly heat) is any skin bumps or blotches. The rash can be red, skin-colored, or slightly lighter or darker than skin color. The delicate skin of the diaper area will be slightly red and possibly warm to the touch. With continued irritation, the redness can become deeper and spread out to cover a larger area.
